December 27, 2011 | In: EMR Technologies
Adopting a certified and dependable medical imaging software has become the urgent need for most healthcare practices and physicians in the United States. Medical imaging technology is a part of graduating to the digital format of storing clinical health information, particularly, PHI or patient health information. Medical imaging software, a Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS) system, is used in healthcare settings as a part of diagnosing and treating illness/diseases.
PACS image-creating software helps to integrate images that have been created by various medical imaging processes into technologies such as Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and Radiology Information System (RIS) platforms. This includes images created by standard testing technologies like Computed Tomography or CT and Magnetic Resonance Imaging or MRI and X-ray.
